Sufi Ruhaniat International is one of the lineage streams that emerged from the vision and guidance of Hazrat Inayat Kahn. Samuel Lewis is the founder of the Ruhaniat and originator of the Dances of Universal Peace. Sufi Zikr is a practice of Remembrance- of our unified reality within the One and All, and our inter-connectedness with each other. Service of Universal Peace is a religious activity of the Sufi Ruhaniat International. It is based upon the Universal Worship service originated by Hazrat Inayat Khan to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse religious traditions of the world, externally in the beauty of their distinctions and differences, and internally in the transformative and healing power of their Unity in One Source.
Mevlevi Order of America is the Sufi order founded by the followers of the great 13th century poet and mystic Hazrati Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi, known in the West as Rumi. They are also known as the Whirling Dervishes, and present public programs from time to time. They also maintain a teaching schedule in Seattle.
