Our Larger Community

Dances of Universal Peace North America supports and connects dance communities in the United States and Canada. Click on the homepage/find the dances map or calendar to connect with dance communities and events across the continent and Hawaii.

Dances of Universal Peace International supports the worldwide network of dancers, certifies dance leaders, and maintains a library of dance recordings and notations for members of the DUP Leaders Guild.

The Abwoon Network shares the work of Dr. Neil Douglas-Klotz (Saadi) on Native Middle Eastern spirituality and Aramaic language, the language spoken by Jesus. With a translation of the words of Jesus directly from the Aramaic, he has created a fresh interpretation of these teachings, with cycles of Dances based on the Beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer, and the “I Am” statements.

Community for Interfaith Celebration (CIC) is an Interfaith congregation in Olympia Washington. CIC meets Sunday evenings from 4:00-5:30. Celebrations includes explorations and practices (Including Dances of Universal Peace) from a variety of religious and philosophical traditions.

Seattle Dances of Universal Peace includes listings for dances in Seattle as well as surrounding area dance circles and some regional special events and camps.

Center for Spiritual Living Olympia (CSLO) partners with the Dances of Universal Peace Olympia to hold a dance at 12:30pm after the service on the 3rd Sunday of the month. They are located at 3437 Libby Road NE, Olympia, WA.  They are based on the teachings of Ernest Holmes, a mystic and visionary who sought the core similarities in all the world’s religions and spiritual traditions.  They teach what is known as New Thought principles – ideas that empower us to create lives we love and support others in doing the same.

Interfaith Works seeks social justice and peace through interfaith collaboration. They work tirelessly to house and feed people in need in Thurston County.

Gwinwood Retreat Center is located in Lacey, Wa. They are affiliated with the Disciples of Christ. They offer retreat space and programming that nourishes spiritual depth and personal wellness.

Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation Beginning September 12, OUUC partners with the Dances of Universal Peace Olympia to hold a dance on 2nd Thursday evenings at 6:30pm as part of their ongoing weekly social and activity evening.  They are located at 2306 East End St. NW, Olympia WA. Their spiritual principles affirm the worth and dignity of every person, and that we are part of the infinite, interdependent Web of Life:  “Welcome and Wonder, Embrace and Empower, Bridge and Become.”
