The Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic, the language which Jesus actually spoke, opens new vistas of meaning. These translations and dance movements have been created by scholar and Dance network founder, Saadi Neil Douglas-Klotz. For example, the beginning of the prayer in King James Version of the Bible reads, “Our Father Which Art in Heaven.” One Aramaic translation is, “O Birther! Father-Mother of the cosmos, you create all that moves in light.”
All Aramaic words, original melodies and simple dance movements will be taught by Murad Phil Notermann, who has led this cycle for many years.
